My husband and I purchased a package deal which included one night's stay at the Hilton and a $25 credit to one of the hotel's restaurants. We chose to use the dining credit for breakfast on the morning we checked out; big mistake. After waiting in line to be seated, or even acknowledged, the hostess rudely pointed us to a tiny table. After sitting there for another several minutes being completely ignored, the hostess strolled by again and flippantly asked, "Oh, do you guys want to see a menu?" After we got our ONE menu to share, we had to wait several more minutes to order our beverages, another several minutes to order our food and then many more minutes to actually receive our drinks. By this time, we should have left, but didn't want our $25 to go to waste. Approximately 30 minutes later, our breakfast was finally delivered; cold and disgusting! The pancakes literally tasted like dried carboard!!! We had to wait and wait to have our drinks refilled. The restaurant wasn't even that busy and there seemed to be enough servers on shift that could have easily taken care of providing good service to all of the diners. The total cost of our 2 meals (remember we are talking breakfast, folks) was an outrageous $48! In hindsight, we should have left and gone to Denny's; the food and price would been more acceptable.
